Taysir Khalid

Taysir Khalid (Tayseer Khaled) is a member and Politburo member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), who was a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization until 1993, when he resigned in protest against the Oslo Accords.[1] He was the party's candidate for President of the Palestinian Authority in 2005. He gained 3.4% of the vote.[2]

After the September 23, 2011 U.N. Speech on Palestinian Statehood by United States president Barack Obama, Khalid said that Obama has forgotten that "the victims of the Nazi Beast are practicing the same criminal methods" against the Palestinians[3].
